PRAYER FOR NATION – December 2025
THE FIELDS ARE RIPE UNTO HARVEST
Romans 10:9-15
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
HALLOWING GOD OUR SAVIOUR AND REDEEMER
Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your Name, God our Salvation.
Gracious Father, we are grateful and indebted to Your demonstration of Your amazing and gracious love for us – while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).
Father, You so loved ALL people (name all tribes, tongues, races and nationals) across generations, that You gave Your One and Only Begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. For You did not send Your Son into this world to condemn anyone of us, but to SAVE US ALL through Him (John 3:16) for You desire NONE OF US TO PERISH but everyone (regardless of race, tongue, tribe, slave or free) to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
Thank You that it is only in Christ that we have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of Your grace that You lavished on us (Ephesians 1:7).
You did not spare Your own Son, but gave Him up for us all – how will You not also, along with Him graciously give us all things (Romans 8:32)?
We are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, Your special possession, that we may declare the praises of You who called us out of darkness into Your wonderful light. Once we were not a people, but now we are the people of God; once we had not received mercy, but now we have received mercy (1 Peter 2:9-10).
RESPONDING TO THE CALL INTO HIS HARVEST FIELD
Jesus, while You were with Your disciples, You said, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.”
Lord Jesus, upon Your resurrection, before You were taken up into Heaven, You said: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
Repentance (personal and church)
Lord Jesus, You said to pray for workers to be sent out into Your harvest field. As I pray for workers to be sent, here am I, willing to be the answer to the prayer. Forgive me for having forgotten that I was once lost, and You sent various people into my life to sow into me and lead me to receive You as My Lord and Savior.
I come before You to acknowledge my failure to take seriously Your command – to go and make disciples of all nations. I have tasted of Your mercy, Your grace, Your forgiveness, Your healing, Your deliverance, Your restoration, Your provision, Your protection, Your love, joy and peace. Your goodness and faithfulness upon my life is not mine to keep, but to enable me to be Your witness and testimony of who You are to a world in chaos and without hope. You entrusted me with Your message of life, hope, and salvation, yet I have been silent when I should have spoken, passive when I should have acted, and distracted when I should have heeded Your Voice to witness.
Forgive me, Lord, for treating Your commission as optional, for prioritizing comfort over obedience, and for allowing fear, apathy, or busyness to drown out Your call. I now want to repent for the times I had withheld Your truth from those who needed it, and for the moments I had lived as though the gospel and the testimonies of Your goodness and faithfulness were mine to keep rather than an entrustment of Yours for me to share and witness.
Rededication (personal & church)
Father, here I am, willing to be made willing to go into Your harvest field to be Your vessel. Awaken in me the urgency of the hour and the power of Your gospel unto salvation. Stir and renew my heart with Your love and compassion for the lost. Let love compel me, not fear nor timidity nor being ashamed of the gospel, for it is Your power unto salvation for those who believe.
Open my eyes to see every encounter and interaction with people around me as an opportunity to reflect Your grace, and every day as a chance to be Your witness in acts of kindness and in words – beginning with members of my household, college, workplace and community, across generations, cultures and tongues. (Name the people in the various people groups mentioned.)
Give me the courage and boldness to pray for those who are sick to be healed (Mark 16:18). Give me a word of knowledge and a well-instructed tongue to know Your Word in season that would bring life to the weary soul (Isaiah 50:4), so that people would encounter Your Presence and Your Kingdom would come upon their lives.
I surrender again to Your command to go; not by my own strength, but by Your authority and for Your glory. Empower me by Your Spirit that I would not be ashamed to proclaim Your name and the good news of the gospel, because it is Your power that brings salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Father, I thank You, in Christ, the Spirit of God is on me because You have anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. You send me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor (Luke 4:18-19).
Declaration on Harvest
We declare that the Church of Christ in this nation will empower her people in evangelism and discipleship, will re-establish priority and urgency for evangelism – for “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
We declare that the Body of Christ be bold and courageous, and not be ashamed to declare the message of the gospel to any and every one (name the people groups and people you are connected with) because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16).
We declare that the Body of Christ will triumph over the kingdom of darkness by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimonies, and they will not love their lives so much as to shrink from death (Revelation 12:11).
We declare that as prayer altars are established across every state in the nation, the spiritual gateway of the Kingdom of God is opened for the Presence of God to come. We declare that the grip of darkness over the souls of the people (name those areas of darkness eg. violence, substance abuse, anger, etc) and territories is broken and weakened, whereby the Holy Spirit brings forth healing, deliverance, repentance, and salvation. We declare that the Presence of God the Father will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of children to their fathers, and will restore family relationships in this nation.
We declare to Malaysia, “Arise, shine, Malaysia for Your Light has come and the glory of the LORD rises upon you, Malaysia. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, BUT the LORD RISES UPON YOU, MALAYSIA, and HIS GLORY APPEARS over YOU, MALAYSIA! (Isaiah 60:1-2) The LORD is patient with you, Malaysia, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9) and Everlasting Life.”
In the Mighty Name of Jesus, I pray and declare. Amen.
