Frequently Asked Questions
In what way is this 24/7 FireWall different from what we already have? Is it just another prayer initiative that conflicts with existing prayer networks?
- This FireWall is not meant to replace any existing prayer initiative but rather to allow all the different prayer networks to come together.
- This FireWall is not another prayer idea but rather builds upon what the Lord has been doing all these years. It is the Lord responding to the many faithful prayer initiatives over the years.
- All of us know that unless and until the body of Christ comes into a spirit of agreement no one church or one prayer network have the authority to bind the strongman over Malaysia.
- This initiative respects and honors the church leadership and fathers of prayer networks. In fact, we would want every person joining this firewall to inform their pastor and prayer leader and be accountable to them.
How will the prayer points be co-ordinated?
Look at this FireWall as a new birth where it is a work-in-progress.
Stage 1- Birthing stage (3 months, Mar-May 2021 – Pray, Hear, Plan & Modify)
- A few of us volunteered to come together every week to pray and plan the prayers and to do this for the first 3 months.
- At the moment, we have chosen to adopt a set of prayers with the main focus changing each week.
- Every month the web admin will share the statistics to all involved.
- Review will take place after 3 months (end May)
Stage 2: We don’t know – Joshua 3:4
We seek and wait upon the Holy Spirit to direct the next stage.
What about the prayers we already use on our own prayer time?
- The FireWall does not replace your personal prayer time to worship and read bible. It is additional to it.
- The FireWall does not replace your prayer networks and assigned prayers of churches.
- It merely invites you to now add a time to join the Body of Christ in Malaysia, take your stand on the wall and cry out in unison to the Lord in one accord.
Why only 15 mins?
- To encourage those who are new and learning to pray. The prayers are scripted so that anyone can use the prayers and allow the Holy Spirit to take them further in prayer.
- 15 mins is the minimum time slot not the maximum.
- Can pray longer than 15 mins. Eg: Login for two blocks of 15 mins for a 30 mins slot.
- Intercessors may want to login for 1 hour or more.
How long will this FireWall last – when do we stop?
- This FireWall is NOT a response to a crisis but a response to the CALL OF GOD for His church in Malaysia at this time.
- It does not stop when crisis stops. It is a long-term commitment to take our stand in our nation and pray for Malaysia until His kingdom comes and His will be done in our land.
What is the desired outcome?
- Unity of churches, praying for each other’s churches, forming a bond of brotherhood and honoring each other no matter the size or ethnicity.
- This is what will command God’s blessing. Through this FireWall churches can come alongside each other to practically help and pray for each other.
- Each city and state has a 24/7 FireWall that gives them the authority to pray into that city and state that can affect the spiritual outcome of that city, state or region.
- The rise of prayer altars in all our churches. As it is only 15 mins anyone can learn to pray.
- Family altars and workplace altars are set up and part of the FireWall.
