PRAYER FOR THE NATION – March 2026
RESTORATION OF GOD’S PROMISES
In February, Rev Suzette Hattingh reminded us that God’s promises are always “yes and amen”. He does not flip-flop with His word. He is always reliable. Even if we do not see a manifestation of His promises, now it does not mean God has forgotten or that He does not mean what He says. A delay is not a denial of what He has said.
2 Corinthians 1:19-21 (NIV)
20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
Isaiah 46:9-10 (TPT)
9 Remember the miracles of long ago.
Acknowledge that I am God, and there is no other. I am God, and there is none like me.
10 I declare from the beginning how it will end and foretell from the start what has not yet happened.
I decree that my purpose will stand, and I will fulfill my every plan.
This month, we are going to use our prayer time to remind ourselves of the many prophetic words God has given us personally, to our family, our churches or ministries, and to us in Malaysia. God’s words are powerful and to be taken seriously. This month, let us take hold of God’s promises and pray into it.
Habakkuk 2:1-3 (TLT)
1 I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guard post.
There I will wait to see what the LORD says and how he will answer my complaint. 2 Then the LORD said to me,
“Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.
3 This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.
What are the steps to to take to pray into God’s promises and prophetic words?
- Take hold of God’s word and promises given to us.
- Take a posture like Habakkuk and stand daily on our watch as watchmen. Pray the promises of God so as to allow the Holy Spirit to give us clear understanding.
- As God gives understanding, write down what He explains to you like Habakkuk.
- If God reveals that there are steps we need to take action, then we must obey Him before the promises can come into fulfillment.
- Give thanks when we see signs of fulfillment!
Use this month to work on a promise each week. Don’t try to finish all in one prayer time!
- PRAYERS FOR THE PROMISES GOD GAVE TO YOU PERSONALLY, including promises for your family, work and ministry. Relook at some of these promises and pray into them.
PRAYER
Lord, I thank You that Your promises are always “yes and amen” in Christ Jesus. I thank you for these promises (state which scripture) that You spoke to me in …. (if you can remember date or time, state it).
Thank You that You have not forgotten them. In fact, you want me to pray for clarity of understanding. Lord, please show me if there is anything in me that now stands in the way for these promises to be fulfilled.
I thank you that You who began a good work in me will bring it to completion. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
- PRAYING THROUGH THE PROMISES GOD GAVE US FOR MALAYSIA.
We have put down 4 major promises given. Go through them again and pray into them for further understanding. Much of what God has promised is already coming to pass.
You are part of the fulfillment of His word. Let us give thanks to God and ask Him to help us stay on track.

Has a nation ever been born in a single day?
Has a country ever come forth in a mere moment?
But by the time Jerusalem’s birth pains begin, her children will be born.
9 Would I ever bring this nation to the point of birth
and then not deliver it?” asks the LORD.
“No! I would never keep this nation from being born,” says your God.

Run, tell that young man, ‘Jerusalem will be a city without walls because of the great number of people and animals in it. 5 And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will be its glory within.’
10 The LORD says, “Shout and rejoice, O beautiful Jerusalem, for I am coming to live among you. 11 Many nations will join themselves to the LORD on that day, and they, too, will be my people. I will live among you, and you will know that the LORD of Heaven’s Armies sent me to you. 12 The land of Judah will be the LORD’s special possession in the holy land, and he will once again choose Jerusalem to be his own city. 13 Be silent before the LORD, all humanity, for he is springing into action from his holy dwelling.”

The building of this wall of prayer must involve all the different prayer groups and denominations. The task is too great for any one group.

Come away with me, my fair one!
11 Look, the winter is past, and the rains are over and gone.
12 The flowers are springing up,
the season of singing birds has come,
and the cooing of turtledoves fills the air.
13 The fig trees are forming young fruit,
and the fragrant grapevines are blossoming.
Rise up, my darling! Come away with me, my fair one!”
PRAYER
Thank you, Lord, that you have a deep concern for Malaysia. We thank you that You have raised up intercessors in Malaysia so as to carry the burden for Malaysia and to “give birth’ to your plans for our nation (Is 66:8).
We want to thank You Lord, that You got us together to build a firewall of prayer around Malaysia so that Your glory can be in our midst. Indeed, we see signs of Your glory over Malaysia.
It is your zeal that has aroused us into action. It is You that has awakened Your beloved bride and drawn her into your chambers.
- We thank You that the season of the rain has gone, and now we are seeing signs of flowers blooming in Malaysia (Song of Songs 2:12). The time of singing and the voice of the turtledoves (which is the voice of the Holy Spirit) can be clearly heard today.
- Indeed, since we started, we thank You Holy Spirit that You have continued to speak to us and give us clarity of what You are doing. We thank You that You are drawing us toward greater intimacy with You, revealing God’s heart for Malaysia to us in even greater clarity.
- We also thank You that through this firewall of prayer, You have made us all come together from different language groups (Chinese, BM, English and Tamil) and from different states, to build a wall of prayer!
- You have drawn the generations together, even the children are getting involved as we launch the 2 billion Children project.
- Truly there is evidence of your glory coming upon our land as we see more and more churches and prayer groups rising up to set up prayer altars in their own churches in so many towns.
PRAYER and DECLARATION over the PROPHETIC WORDS SPOKEN OVER MALAYSIA.
(Many prophetic words have been spoken over Malaysia. Please refer to them in the appendix.)
As we call into remembrance the word and promises You have given us, we see that many of Your promises are being fulfilled. Many prayer groups, bringing great unity to the body of Christ, are being raised.
You spoke through your servants, the prophets, that a tsunami of salvation will come to our land. We declare that many nations and ethnic groups in Malaysia will indeed join themselves to the Lord and become God’s people as declare in the Word given in Zech 2:5,11.
We declare that a new wind is blowing in the churches of East Malaysia, bringing an overcoming anointing to all of Malaysia. We declare that the first people of the land, who carry the DNA of the land, will rise up and they will have the ability to sing and dance to unlock the destiny of our land.
We declare that pastors and business leaders will come together and God will break down traditional walls. The church of God in Malaysia will come into a tremendous new unity.
May Malaysia then become a nation that brings unity and convergence to the region. Lord, You are now building a highway and an avenue of worship, an avenue of repentance and an avenue of reconciliation over this region.
May Malaysia be the trigger that initiates the revival of Asia. (Prophetic word by Pastor Tom Hess in 2016 when he saw a vision: He saw a musket representing Southeast Asia. Indonesia is the barrel, Singapore is the firing pin, and Malaysia is the trigger; these three nations becoming a musket for revival.
When he released this prophecy, he said that God would make Malaysia a catalyst to initiate the revival of Asia.)
