PRAYER FOR THE NATION – APRIL 2026

TRIGGERING NEW THINGS IN THE SPIRIT FOR THE LAND

On March 1st to 3rd 2026, Apostle Julius Suubi challenged us to trigger NEW THINGS for the nation. He shared many precious principles, how we can trigger new things for this land of Malaysia.

This is a very important season. In this season, a particular prophetic window opens. If we are aware of this window and move into it, it is easy to gain ground, to possess the land and see fruits.

ISAIAH 42:9

Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

ISAIAH 43:19

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

PRAYER

Lord, we thank You that You promised to do new things in our land. We stand on Your promises and declare that new things shall spring forth.

Set us free from the things that are in the past that can bind us and hinder us from moving forward. Lord, make a way in the wilderness and deliver those who have been in the wilderness and set them free. We declare there will be rivers of refreshing, renewal, restoration, healing, and revival flowing in our land.

HOW DO WE TRIGGER NEW THINGS IN THE LAND NOW?

Prayer

I. We need a Rhema Word from God.

Lord, help us position ourselves to receive the Rhema Word from you by doing a few things:

  • Commit to read the Bible daily, more than 3 chapters.

 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone.’”(Luke 4:4)

  • Remove all hindrances to hear from God.

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.(Jn 10:27)

  • May the Holy Spirit quicken the Word.

The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.(Jn. 6:63)

  • Speak to us through dreams & visions.

And afterward,   I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
    your old men will dream dreams,
    your young men will see visions. (Joel 2:28)

  • Help us obey and act out the Rhema Word you reveal to us.
  • Please release faith through the spoken Word so that we can accomplish the things You ask us to do.

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. （Rom. 10:17)

We are desperate to hear from You.

Let us not miss the timing of Yours.

Grant us a visitation as we want to see you.

Let Your Glory be upon this land.

II. A long season of seeking the Lord will trigger new things

Prayer

  • Lord, help us to increase our capacity to seek You, through intimacy.

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart. (Jer. 29:11–13)

  • Create in us a longing for more of you.

1 As the deer pants for streams of water,
    so my soul pants for you, my God.
2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. (Ps. 42:1–2a)

1 You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you; I thirst for You,
my whole being longs for You,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water. (Ps 63:1)

1 How lovely is Your dwelling place, Lord Almighty!
2 My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. (Ps 84:1–2)

  • May we return to our first love as You command us.

4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.(Rev. 2:4–5)

  • Help us to abide in Christ for without him we can do nothing.

4 Remain in Me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me. 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.(John 15:4–5)

  • Lord, help us to create pathways in the realm of the Spirit by making a covenant to pray for a long season and to stick to it faithfully.

Deep calls unto deep, awaken us to pray and fast.
Give us such a desperation to seek Your face,
until we see new breakthroughs in this land.

Give us the grace and the strength to push through in prayer until we see new things happen in this land.

III. To Trigger New Things in the Land Also Involves Successful Spiritual Warfare

Prayer

Lord, help us to win the spiritual warfare against the enemy.

  • Let us know our spiritual position as more than conquerors.

6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, (Eph 2:6)

  • Let us be ready for spiritual warfare.

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Eph 6:10–12)

  • Help us to put on the Whole Armour of God daily.

Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
Therefore put on the full armor of God… Stand firm then, with the belt of truth… breastplate of righteousness… shield of faith… helmet of salvation… sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions…(Eph 6:11, 13–18)

  • Equip us with the Weapons of Warfare that God gives us.

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; 5 casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God… (2 Cor 10:4–5)

  • Protect and guard our hearts against all sinful open doors.

23 Search me, God, and know my heart;
    test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24  See if there is any offensive way in me,
    and lead me in the way everlasting.(Ps 139:23-24)

(Eg: Unforgiveness, bitterness, fear, habitual sin, negative speech)

Neither give place to the devil.(Eph 4:27)

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. (Pro 4:23)

  • Help us to make worship our daily weapon.

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand.(Ps 149:6)

“Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house.” (Matt 12:29)

Reveal to us the strong man who is controlling this land in Your time, when we are ready to take him down through repentance, forgiveness, and spiritual warfare by Your blood and in Your mighty Name.

DECLARATION

We declare God will do New Things in this land in this New Season.
We declare a new season of New Revival in this land.
We declare a new season of Unity and Oneness in the Body of Christ.
We declare a new season of Harvest and Fruitfulness.
We declare a new season of Righteousness and the Fear of God upon our Government.
We declare a new season of Racial Harmony in this land.
We declare New Breakthroughs in all areas of life.
We declare a new season of Signs and Wonders with the manifestation of God’s Glory upon this land.
