PRAYER FOR THE NATION

Read Revelation 5 NKJV

1 And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. 2 Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?” 3 And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it.

4 So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. 5 But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.”

8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they sang a new song, saying:

“You are worthy to take the scroll,

And to open its seals; For You were slain,

And have redeemed us to God by Your blood

Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

10 And have made us kings and priests to our God;

And we shall reign on the earth.”

 

PRAYER & DECLARATION

Almighty God, Ruler of Heaven and Earth, we give you praise, O Lion of Judah.  Your voice has roared over our land. We proclaim You are also the Lamb of God who has redeemed us from different tribes and tongues and made us kings and priests to serve the Living God.

Today we join You to decree these prayers over our nation, Malaysia:

  • We decree that the spirit of intercession, praise, worship and thanksgiving will now arise even more to dispel the power of darkness in our land.
  • We decree that our leaders, the government of our nation, and we, Your church, will now walk in the fear of You, the Lord, in righteousness, justice, mercy and wisdom so that our nation will be restored to You again.
  • We decree our elected political leaders will rule for the good of the people and not for selfish purposes.
  • We decree that revival will come upon our land and the church in both East and West Malaysia; that there will be reconciliation, repentance, salvations, signs and wonders, mass turning to You with joy, faith and love in Your body the church!
  • We decree the land of Malaysia will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
  • We decree that Your glory will fill our nation and that the name of Jesus will be lifted high over our land…
    • That our shame will be removed
    • That our nation will prosper
    • That racial healing will take place
    • That righteousness and justice will be the foundation of our nation
    • That prosperity be restored

And we declare that we Your people will always be “more than conquerors through Christ who loves us” and nothing can separate us, from Your love, O God!

We decree that nothing, absolutely nothing, shall overcome Your Kingdom’s purpose and Your Glory in the nation of Malaysia! May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in Malaysia as it is in heaven.
