PRAYER FOR THE NATION – FEBRUARY 2024

One of the gates that we believe that God wants us to possess this year as we press into revival is the Harvest Gate. Let us make most of every opportunity to redeem the time especially during this festive month, to share our faith with those around us.

Jesus said:

“The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few.  Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest.” (Matt 9:37-38)

  1. Sending out of Labourers

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that You are the Lord of the Harvest. You anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. You are the God who sees the multitudes with all their burdens. You see they are weary and scattered like sheep having no shepherd.

So, we lift our voices in one accord for You to send out labourers into the harvest field to all the seven mountains of influence. Grant us eyes to see as You see, hearts to love as You love, and power to minister to them just as Jesus did while He was on earth.

  • Family – for prayer altars and the presence of God to fill homes. Children to come to know Christ & be discipled in the homes by godly parents.
  • Education – that godly educators will permeate the education sector and many children in this 4-14 window of openness will come to know Jesus. (https://www.cefonline.com/articles/teach-kids-articles/the-4-14-window/)
  • Media, Arts & Entertainment – pray that these 2 mountains will be filled with godly and creative influencers who will influence the masses for Christ.
  • Business – leaders, workers, and business men and women who know their purpose and build for God’s glory, and that they experience and share the goodness of God to those around them.
  • Government – that believers will multiply on this mountain, live lives that glorify the Father’s name and influence many.
  • Spiritual – that the church of God will lift up their voices in one accord, that there be open doors for the gospel, open hands to minister, open hearts and minds to receive, Open Heavens for the rain of revival that will bring salvation!

“You heavens above, rain down my righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness flourish with it; I, the LORD, have created it. Isa 45:8

(Prayerfully ask the Holy Spirit for the names of 7 friends that you can reach out to in this festive season. Also, pray for the wisdom, discernment and open doors to do so.)

 

  1. Mending of Nets

We heard the word from Your servant, Ps James Kawalya, that we need to repair the breaches.

So, search our hearts we pray, see if there is any breach between our brother/sister and ourselves that we need to mend. Give us the willingness to mend any broken relationship that You show us. Show us areas where we can be peacemakers too. May all know that we are Your disciples because of the genuine love You have placed in us for each other.

Help us all to work together for the great harvest of souls. May we be one as You are one, and together may we be able to join hands, cast out the net and together draw in the plentiful harvest that is in Malaysia, in Jesus’ name!

  1. Urgency of the End Time Harvest

You taught us not to say “There are still four months and then comes the harvest”, but to lift up our eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!”

These are truly the days of Elijah declaring the Word of the Lord and turning masses to You. We see an increase in the spiritual activities around us for the enemy knows his time is short (Rev 12:12). We also know that these are times of acceleration. We praise You because You are going to do what You have said, “when the plowman shall overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; …” (Amos 9:13).

We lift up holy hands, and join with You to rebuild the tabernacle of David of praise, adoration and worship (Amos 9:11, Acts 15:16,17). Let there be Open Heavens over our nation!  We thank You that You will surely bring all these to pass! As You promised, may we now enter into the labour of those who have sown much before us.

You also said greater things will we do because You go back to the Father. Make us fishers of men, show us where to cast the nets and may we declare with You,

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.”

Thank You Lord! We enter into all these promises, in Jesus’ name! Amen.
